Wow, where did this week go! Today I’m sharing a card created by Jan Carlson. Jan and Laurie Zollmer, another stamping friend who died of cancer way too young, welcomed me into the Stampin’ family and made my first Convention a wonderful experience. I felt like Cinderella at the ball, lol. Jan moved to Texas to follow her grandchildren so I don’t get to stamp with her anymore. Hopefully, we will be able to attend another event together sometime in the future.
Jan’s card features the Nature’s Print stamp set and Natural Prints Dies which can be purchased as a bundle for a 10% savings. I have learned that even though I don’t THINK I need the stamp set but LOVE the dies (or visa versa) that it’s ALWAYS best to buy the bundle. Once I have it I find that I REALLY want the other, then I have to buy it at full price. Jan has inked her stamp once and then stamped 3 times to achieve a dimensional background look on this card. The Orchid Oasis and Sweet Sorbet colors used are part of the new 2022-2024 In Color set.
