Sweet Hello

Hello! Do you find that although the days are longer (more sunlight) they seem to be shorter? Yikes! I love the outdoors and gardening but I can never keep up this time of year. I’ve been neglecting my stamp room (actually the entire house) in favor of playing in the dirt. I’ve put my nose to the grind stone today and got my card kits ready for the Creative Cards Class which takes place on Wednesday evening. Wednesday afternoon I’ll be hanging out downtown at a table during the Watertown Double Play. Channel 9 is going to be in town for the local Red Devils ball game and there is going to be lots of family fun going on. Outdoors in the wind and weather is always a bit dicey with paper crafts so I’m still contemplating what to bring, lol.

Today I’m sharing a sweet little koala card.

The koala is one of three cute animals in the Wild & Sweet stamp set. This little guy is colored using the Watercolor Pencils without any water or blending. There isn’t a matching die set for the Wild & Sweet animals so I did need to fussy cut him out. The mossy meadow background layer was die cut with the Scalloped Contours Dies then run through the Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine a second time with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. The little Hello greeting is from the Expressions of Friendship Hostess set from the January to June Mini Catalog which will be retiring at the end of this month.

Did you know that when your order reached $150 you begin earning Hostess Rewards? They can be used to purchase anything in the catalog but always be sure to look for the special Hostess Reward items first! They can only be purchased with Hostess Rewards and are always at a reduced price. So when you purchase the Hostess Reward items you double up on the savings!

Of course, you can earn even more Hostess Rewards by having a party. Either in person, on line or simply gathering orders from friends. Contact me today to plan your get together.
