I was not planning on purchasing the Bottled Happiness stamp set and Vintage Bottle Punch…then I used someone else’s at a stamping get together…OMG…had to have it and now it’s one of my favorites. I make a lot of cards, some don’t turn out, some are okay, most are good, but occasionally, I make one that I fall in love with, this card is one that I adore!
I did it for my Creative Cards Class and the group all loved it, I did a video tutorial on it, now I feel like I’m writing a Dr. Seuss book, lol, but I really like this card!
The label is an actual office label from the 1990’s era that was saved from the dumpster by my husband years ago. If you purchase the bundle from me and would like a few, let me know and I’ll send you some. I found the die the Hat Builder Die set which is retired, but a 1″ oval punch or die would work well too.
The Effervescent Elements are so FUN! Do be sure to keep them corralled though because I can’t imagine what it would be like to pick them up off the floor! The Vintage Shaker Bottles make this shaker card so easy and slick to create! There is adhesive on both sides of the dome and it’s easy to peel off the protective cover and adhere.
A Blending Brush was used to add Tahitian Tide ink to the center of the 3 3/4″ x 5″ Basic White layer before punching the Vintage Bottle. The Gray Granite dots are from the Forever Fern stamp set. I found my retired Itty Bitty Accents flower punch was the perfect size for the flowers. Any roughly 1/2″ flower would do. This card has a single layer, the video card is done with two layers. The largest die cut stem from the Forever Flourishing Dies did need to have the bottom layer of leaves snipped off to fit. The card has a mix o gems added for both color and sparkle.
