Hello! Over the next few days I have some cards to share created with the In the Country stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog. It is free with a $50 purchase and contains 2 red rubber images. It’s a set that didn’t really catch my eye, but I ordered because sometimes the sets that don’t catch my eye are ones that become my favorites.

For this card I started with a 3 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ piece of Watercolor paper and inked the image with Sahara Sand ink for a no-line watercolor look. The image was then colored in with Watercolor Pencils and smoothed out with a Blending Pen. I chose to have a narrow path running along a lake for my image by coloring the edge of the road with Pacific Point.

The Pacific Point matte is 3 3/8″ x 2 5/8″ for a narrow border. I did end up using pencil colors from both assortments of watercolor pencils. The greeting is from the Sending Support stamp set, another $50 level Sale-a-bration freebie and one of my favorite SAB sets. It is stamped in Tuxedo Black ink on a 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ piece of Basic White and layered onto a 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Pacific Point.

A piece of the Fancy Flora Designer Paper from the new Mini Catalog covers the entire front of the Basic White Thick card base. Three of the Tahitian Tide 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots complete the outside of the card. I love that the dots are in ombre shades!

A 1″ x 5 1/2″ strip from the leftover pieces of DSP lines the inside bottom, and another greeting from the Sending Support stamp set completes the card. I really like when stamp sets have matching greetings for both the outside and inside of the card.
