With 15 cards done at the Virtual Card Retreat by Stampin’ Up!® I just couldn’t get them all in one post! This awesome retreat is sure to up anyone’s creativity and card making skills.
Let’s dive right in to the first five cards.

This card uses a paper tearing technique as well as adding a second color of ink to a stamp with a sponge dauber to achieve the pretty shading on the blue flowers.

The scene on the inside of this focal point was created by stamping and then tearing papers. This card definitely had a different vibe from most of the others.

This card uses several distressing techniques. Scoring, crumbling, and sanding.

Would you believe that this plaid paper was created during class? It was supposed to be made with masking paper strips and sponge daubers, but I didn’t have any masking paper so I used a ruler and marker to make the strips. I’m loving the white gel pens! They were used to add the white lines and also to make add the decorations on the bows.

This card really shows the detail added to the flowers and the leaves by the Impressions Plate. It was the first time I’ve used it. First the die is run through the Stamp Cut & Emboss Machine with the usual layers to die cut the piece. Next, it’s left in the die and run through with the Impressions Plate (which is a rubbery matte).
